Spend a day with It’s Sew Easy TV and Craftsy instructor, Angela Wolf for a full day of learning and inspiration! Angela, fashion and entrepreneur, ran a custom apparel and alteration business for over 20 year, designing for women all over the world. Specializing in couture gowns, Chanel style jackets, and designer jeans. After getting the position on It’s Sew Easy, which has become a worldwide success, Angela changed her designing focus to the home sewer. She launched Angela Wolf Patterns, teaches online classes on Craftsy, Patternreview, and Angela Wolf Academy with over 140,000 students. Angela hosts weekly Facebook live shows Behind the Scenes and Sewing News Live, Author of how to start a home-based fashion design business, contributor to Threads and Sew News Magazines. She is a spokesperson for Brother International and blogger for Stitching Social. Winner of the 2008 Passion for Fashion, 2012 American Expo’s teacher of the year, 2016 Industry Contributor of the year, 2018 best educational blogger/vlogger & best facebook group. Event Details
Whether you are refashioning a garment or sewing from scratch, embroidery adds a fashionable twist. One of Angela Wolf’s signature fashion items is to embroider on tulle to design custom lace for sleeves (she often calls removable tattoos), collars, inserts, and accents. Start the class by embroidering your own custom lace fabric. Angela will show hooping, choosing the right designs for borders and trims, stabilizer options and more. Then we will use this custom fabric and trim to refashion a simple knit top. This class includes everything you need to embroider, you just bring a top or two to refashion.
