Supplies to bring to class:
We will cut out the fabric and sew up the bag in class.
For Exterior: Medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton canvas, cotton/linen blend, cotton drill, or home décor weight. Quilting cotton can also be used, but I would recommend using cotton duck as an interlining in addition to the woven interfacing specified below.
For Lining: Any light to medium-weight woven fabric - I use cotton duck or medium weight cotton calico/muslin for lining project bags as it gives body and firmness without adding weight or bulk to the bag.
