Join Rhonda and Candace for this 3-part class making your own creative Quilted and Embroidered Steampunk Christmas Tree Skirt.
We will create a one-of-a-kind design using Quilted Treasures' new Steampunk Christmas Fabric and Desiree's Designs Merry Steampunk Christmas Embroidery Designs. (Embroidery is optional)

Class 1 Plan out your project, start cutting fabric and plan your embroidery

Class 2 Working on your piercing or embroidery

Class 3 Putting it all together including adding embroidered Snowflakes and optional quilting in the hoop

Bring to class: 

• Embroidery Design: $49 Desiree's Merry Steampunk Christmas  (optional designs of your choice)
• Sewing and Embroidery machine with the embroidery module and power supply
• Stabilizer: Medium to Heavy Tear Away (you will use several layers per hooping for the embroidery section)
• Hoop size: 5x7, 6x10, or larger
• Embroidery Threads: See Embroidery Design Tutorial
• Sewing Thread for piecing and quilting
• Notions for cutting, measuring, pinning,
• Bring a small iron and ironing board to have at your table.
• Fabric: 
  • 1/2 yard to make bias binding
  • 3/4 yard (light color) fabric for embroidery inserts
  • 1/4 yard of 12 coordinating fabrics or Fat quarter bundle
  • 1 3/4 yard fabric for backing (we used fleece)
  • 1 1/2 yard batting
