Join the Mission Bay Staff as you learn new tips and techniques during Sewing Projects. This class is designed for both beginning and intermediate sewers. Projects will be voted on by the class members. Join the staff to learn something new or to increase your sewing knowledge. 

Quilt As You Go Placemats -

Pattern: Casablanca Quilt as-you-go placemat (purchase from SMP as we get closer to the class date)

Supplies to bring to class:
Best Press Spray
505 basting spray
Ironing mat and iron (this is not an option. We will be doing a lot of ironing and don’t have enough ironing boards to go around).
Seam roller (optional)
6 assorted fabrics

• ½ yard each of 6 fabrics
• 7/8 yard for binding
• 1 ½ yard for backing fabric. 

Thread to match the backing fabric
