MB Fabric Painting w/Melanie - November
Painting on fabric is a fun, unique skill anyone can learn. You’ll love your finished panel that can be turned into anything from a wall hanging to a bag. Add appliqued to create a border, or add embroidery to give it a completely different look.
You will learn “dry brush painting” techniques in this class. Paints are permanent so they withstand washing, so dress for the mess.

New Students: Kit is available to new students, payable to instructor. Everything required is in the kit. Returning Students with a kit: (Kit fee is waived) If you are a returning student of Melanie’s, please bring your kit supplies: *Paints, brushes, foam core covered with Contact paper 15”x20”, water container, paper towels, aluminum foil or palette, palette knife or plastic knife and 1” masking tape and **fabric. *Paints: Pebeo Fabric Paints (can be purchased from Darma Trading Co. – basic colors listed on your handout: red, yellow, blue, fuchsia, black, white and other colors of your choice)
**Fabric: Kaufman’s Pimatex 11” x 15” (will be available during class to purchase from instructor, let instructor know) |
