Make sure your printer is set for “actual size” before you hit print.

 Bring the following supplies to class:

  •          Pattern printed and taped together (there will not be time to do this in class)
  •          Serger with power supply and foot pedal and threading chart
  •          4 spools of serger thread to complement your fabric choice (threads do not have to be the same colors but should complement your fabric)
  •          Serger Feet: Standard Foot or Clear foot or Open-Toe Foot or Teflon Foot
  •          Needles: ELx705 needles or Jersey/Ballpoint or Stretch needles size 80/12 or 90/14 (depending on your fabric)
  •          Cover Stitch Machine for hemming with 2 spools of serger thread that complements the fabric. (I will set up a machine in class if you do not have one.)
  •          Sewing notions for cutting, marking, and pinning the fabric (Clover Clips recommended instead of pins). Double eye needle, tweezers, scissors, fabric glue.
  •          Pattern weights helpful for cutting out fabric
  •          SewKeys E double sided fusible tape (green package) ½ inch to fuse hems in place before serging.

Beginning to advanced. Must be able to thread your machine.
Requirements:
You can register for any class in the store. If you are paying by credit card, you can register online, or phone (760-739-8222 or 858-225-2739). The registration fee for the class must be received to reserve your space. Most classes have a minimum number of students to run. If we do not meet the minimum number of students for the class three (3) days prior to the class, we will notify you that the class is cancelled. If your class is not held for any reason, you may transfer to another class or receive a refund. You may cancel for a full refund up to four days prior to the class. No refunds can be given within three days prior to a class.
