SM Fire Island Hosta Retreat w/Cat
Cat Wilson is coming back to SMP with this great class designed to feature the Judy Niemeyer technique for paper piecing. In this retreat you can learn, play and stitch the day away.
Enjoy step by step demos. Pick accents, backgrounds, some basic supplies and join the fun.
Your registration will include:

3 days of classes, including "Quilt Til you Wilt" Friday and Saturday
Trunk show.
Supplies to bring to class are listed on your pattern
General Supply List:
Machine in good working order
12” Add A Quarter Rule
Sewline Glue Pen and refills
UHU Glue Stick or Elmer’s stick glue
mechanical pencil
silk pins (.04 mm, at least 3/4” long)
50 wt two ply cotton thread (I prefer Aurifil, but this is a personal choice)
1 sheet of Heavy Weight template plastic - or a manila folder
Ziploc Bags - Gallon size
Sharpie Marker
Purple Thang — or stiletto
large paper clips
rotary cutter — preferably 60mm, minimum 45mm
6x12 or 6.5x12.5 ruler
small scissors for clipping threads
70/10 microtex sharp machine needles
To maximize your sewing time in class, it is recommended that you cut out
your papers prior to class. Simply cut them out 1/8” outside of all of the
shapes (do not cut within any of the large shapes). If you have any
