Baltimore Pillow

Practice your multi-hooping skills with this Baltimore-inspired appliqué pillow. You’ll be pleased with how all the pieces of this project line up perfectly!

 

This project is compatible with any embroidery machine that has the capability to stitch 3” x 5” designs

Bring the following supplies to class: 

Fabrics

• Background Fabric 13” square

• Flanges and pillow back (3/4 yard)

• (2) 3 ¼” x 13” strips

• (2) 3 ¼” x 17 ½” strips

• (2) 13 ¾” x 17 ½” pieces

• Appliqué fabrics

•Tulip inside (4)

• Tulip outside (4)

• Stars (4)

• Leaves (8)

• Center flower (1)

Stabilizers

• Medium Tear Away stabilizer

• 9 pieces to fit hoop size

• Fusible PolyMesh

• 13” square

• Fusible Fleece

• (1) 13” square

• (2) 3 ¼” x 13” strips

• (2) 3 ¼” x 17 ½” strips

Templates (included with handouts)

• Appliques

• Block Layout

  Other Supplies Needed: 

Threads: 

• Thread- 7 colors to compliment applique fabrics

• Bobbin wound with bobbin thread

• Sewing thread to match fabrics for pillow construction

• Fabric safe marking pen or chalk

• Embroidery Needles 75/11

• 505 temporary adhesive spray

• Embroidery Scissors

• Scissors for cutting templates and appliqué pieces

• Rotary Cutter

• 18” or longer ruler

• Embroidery Press Cloth

• 12” pillow form

Requirements:
CLASS REGISTRATION PROCEDURES You can register for any class in the store. If you are paying by credit card, you can register by mail or phone (760-739-8222 or 800-401-8151). The registration fee for the class must be received to reserve your space. Most classes have a minimum number of students to run. If we do not meet the minimum number of students for the class three (3) days prior to the class, we will notify you that the class is cancelled. If your class is not held for any reason, you may transfer to another class or receive a refund. You may cancel for a full refund up to four days prior to the class. No refunds can be given within three days prior to a class.
