SM Sewing With Your Feet w/Debbie: Roller, Chenille, Felling Feet
Join Debbie in creating your own Sewing Foot Techniques Binder. Over the course of this year, we'll try to cover every sewing machine foot out there. You will compile a binder with an entry for each foot, along with tips and tricks. You will also sew out a sample (or 2) to illustrate the techniques for using that foot. In addition, we'll play with a "Mystery" foot or accessory that you might have been afraid to try but will discover you NEED TO HAVE!
This class in for Beginners through advanced sewers and anyone wanting to learn more about your sewing machine feet and all the magic they can do.
In this class we will focus on the following feet:- Roller Foot
- Chenille Foot
- Felling Foot
- Sewing Machine in good working condition with power supply and foot pedal
- Feet listed above
- Your favorite sewing notions for cutting, marking and pinning fabrics
- Pencil and a 12" ruler
- Leather needle size 90/14 or 100/16
- Universal needle size 80/12
- Regular sewing thread and regular bobbins
- Thread wt 30 or wt 12
- Scraps of fabric to practice with
- 8" x 8" solid color twill or other fabric
- Your binder with pages printed out for this class
- USB Stick
- One 2”– 3” Binder
- Page protectors and 6 Dividers: Utility, Fashion, Home Dec, Quilting, Heirloom, and Decorative (I use the kind that come with a plastic sleeve for a decorative divider page)
- 36" pre-made chenille, your choice of colors
- real leather scraps to sew on
- terrycloth and other specialty fabric to practice with

Requirements:
Make sure you have all your supplies and feet prior to the start of class.
You can register for any class in the store. If you are paying by credit card, you can register online, or phone (760-739-8222 or 858-225-2739). The registration fee for the class must be received to reserve your space. Most classes have a minimum number of students to run. If we do not meet the minimum number of students for the class three (3) days prior to the class, we will notify you that the class is cancelled. If your class is not held for any reason, you may transfer to another class or receive a refund. You may cancel for a full refund up to four days prior to the class. No refunds can be given within three days prior to a class.
