Join Cat Wilson for an all-day Beginning Quilt Class learning the tips and techniques you will need to complete this 36"x 36" Quilt.
Each month you will work on a block or two that can become part of your quilt or you can create a "Stand Alone" Quilt.
The quilt will be completed after 4 months with the last month focused on using your domestic machine to quilt and tips for finishing your quilt with sashing and binding.
Bring your lunch and enjoy the day with fellow sewists.

Supplies to bring to class:
- Pattern: a pattern is an original design by the instructor and will be handed out at the beginning of class
Sewing Machine: Bring your sewing machine and manual - 1/4" foot is very helpful
- Sewing Notions for marking, pinning, and cutting your fabrics
- rotary cutter & mat & ruler (recommend 6x12)
- Thread: recommend 100% cotton

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Please be aware that SMP wants to keep our staff and students healthy. During this time, SMP will not be supplying classrooms with cutting mats, rulers, irons, ironing boards or rotary cutters. Please bring your own. Tables will be sanitized BEFORE each class. We ask that you sanitize your hands often, practice social distancing and wear a mask. Thank you!

CLASS REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
You can register for any class in the store. If you are paying by credit card, you can register by mail or phone (619-225-2739, 760-739-8222 or 800-401-8151). For a free class, you can send an e-mail to pos2@sewingmachinesplus.com. Please include your name, address, phone number, the name of the class and the time and date. The registration fee must be received to reserve your space. Most classes have a minimum number of students to run. If we do not meet the minimum of students three (3) days prior to the class, we will notify you that the class is cancelled. If your class is not held for any reason, you may transfer to another class or receive a refund. You may cancel for a full refund up to four days prior to the class. No refunds can be given within three days prior to the class.
