Join Rhonda for our New "Sewing for Kids" Class for kids 8 and up.
Ages 8-12
Our goal will be to have fun sewing!
Sewing for Kids will teach the basics of the world of sewing. In this class you will learn how to make fun projects that you will enjoy making for years to come.
You will need these items for class.
- Sewing machine in working order
- Scissors that can cut fabric
- Pins
- Clips
- Seam ripper
- Thread
- ½ yard of cotton fabric (for project) or 2 fat quarters of coordinating fabrics
Bring extra fabric, so that we can practice a little before we start the project.
Children 8-10 will need an adult with them. You will be there to assist your child with the directions.
At our first meeting we will make a small pillow.

Skill Details:
student should know how to preform the basic operations of their machine such as: threading, winding a bobbin and changing stiches.
Requirements:
kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult
CLASS REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:
You can register for classes in the store, on our website or call us 760-739-8222 or 858-225-2739. Most classes have a minimum number of students required to run the class. If we do not meet the minimum number of students, we will notify you that the class is cancelled or rescheduled.
If your class is not held for any reason, you may transfer your class fee paid to another class or receive a refund.
You may cancel for a full refund up to three (3) days prior to the class.
