This month we will be making the Perfect Knit T-shirt using Pattern Emporiums Bestie Tee pattern. This is an Australian company so be sure to adjust the price of the pattern to US dollars. This pattern has ALL the options you need to create multiple styles with just one pattern. So many options to choose from:
- Flared Tee - Gently flared silhouette. 3 lengths: cropped, regular (hip length) & long top.
- Banded Tee - Gently flared silhouette gathered into a hem band. Hem band sits on either the waist or hip.
- 6 Necklines: 3 Rounded, V-Neck & 2 squared.
- 2 Sleeveless options - Wide or cutaway.
- 5 Sleeves - Flounce, cap, short, 3/4 & long sleeve.
- Bands or binding.
Fabric Type and Yardage:1 1/2 to 2 yards of fabric depending on the options you choose. Check the pattern for options and fabric yardage. Most fabrics work well for this pattern. Light weight fabrics, cotton lycra, bamboo, modal, ITY, DTY, rayons, etc... Sweater Knits, Hacci, French Terry, or lightweight knits and Double Brush Polyester are great for long sleeve options.
