Multiple technique Serger Pillow

Let’s make something fun.  Bring your scraps and let’s create as we go.  You will be needing small pieces that you can cut as you need them.  Remember, you will be trying new things and may need to practice.  Bring a variety of fabric that can be used together.  You will be surprised how it turns out.

I hope you will be able to come and join the fun!

Supply List:

Variety of Fabric (best to bring fabric & cut in class)

            (That way you can audition your fabric in class)

Examples of fabric you will need.

•          Back of pillow = 12” x 19”
•          18” Zipper
•          2 yards of cording
•          1/8” Ribbon (at least 10”)
•          (2) pieces of fabric 3” x width of fabric
•          (4) pieces of fabric 3” x 10
•          Accent piece
•          (2) 4” x 12
•          12” x 16” pillow form

Serger in good working order.  If you do not have a coverstitch, I will have a sewing machine for you to finish needed steps.

DECORATIVE THREADS

•          Various 12 wt. thread (I used 3 different colors) You will need at least (2) 12 wt. threads
•          Regular serger thread or embroidery thread

You will want to bring your serger feet.
