This ruler has grooves in the back to hold welt cord and 18 micro welt cord in place, to trim a perfect seam allowance. In addition, it has 45 line which go into the corner, for Pam Damours perfect mitering techniques. The 4 x 8 size is perfect for hemming custom draperies and marking our pleats.
